I love teaching because I get to inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and help students realize how capable and amazing they truly are!

I became a teacher because education runs deep in my family. Growing up surrounded by passionate educators, I saw firsthand the impact a caring teacher can have on a child’s life. From a young age, it was instilled in me that teaching is more than a job—it’s a calling. I chose this path to make a difference, build relationships, and help students believe in themselves and their potential every single day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was with my very first group of students. The relationships we built that year were so special, and I still see many of them today. Knowing that the connection we created continues beyond my classroom means everything to me. It reminded me that teaching is about more than academics — it’s about building relationships that last and making students feel seen, valued, and supported.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would use a portion to pay off a significant amount of my student loans, easing financial stress and allowing me to focus more fully on my students and professional growth. I would also set aside some of the funds to invest back into my classroom—purchasing resources, materials, and experiences that directly benefit my students and enhance their learning environment.
