I was in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program in High School. My instructors saw something in me that I didn't. When I told one of them that I had decided to join the Navy, he told me to go do my career and then come back and take his place. I did just that six years ago and I haven't regretted it.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

The most memorable teaching experience was when I saw my first group of freshmen, graduating four years later. It was a proud moment to see how much they had grown. This has continued in every graduating class each year.

What would you do with the $25,000?

$25,000 would help with a lot of things, and I would use it towards the NJROTC Program I am instructing. This would pay for buses, field trips (including overnights), unit t-shirts, and anything else that comes up to support the Cadets.
