I had teachers in my life that showed me that I could do anything I wanted to do. They showed me that teaching was a skill that I was good at and encouraged me to think about it as a career. I loved Family and Consumer Science and thought it would be a fun job.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceTeaching sewing during Covid was really a challenge. We would do daily Zoom sessions where we would do hand sewing with kits I assembled and sent home. Class ended at 2:30 but one day we stayed on sewing and talking until almost 4! It was bigger than just building their sewing skills!
What would you do with the $25,000?Take a small trip and pay down some debt!
