I wanted to help others. I had a family member who had a learning disability who despised school. I loved school and wanted to help others share the love of school.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI teach first grade and we set weekly goals. The kids cheer each other on when they are working towards their goal. It is so sweet to watch them encourage their classmates.
What would you do with the $25,000?I taught for 7 years in Tennessee. When I rolled my retirement from Tennessee, I lost 4.5 years of teaching. I love my job but that hurt!
