I always wanted to work with kids and to make a positive impact on students lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment is when my kindergarten self contained student got their knee stuck in the playground. I learned then teaching meant working with the whole student. It’s not just about academics, kids have to trust and respect who they learn from.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to enhance the HS life skills room. I teach the life skills program. I would love to add a mock apartment and break room to proved a space to model tasks and appropriate behavior in those spaces.
