Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI am a firm teacher and sometimes I feel like I am too hard on the kids. One day, one of my students saw that I was frustrated with the class not listening and said, "You guys, she's only mad because she loves us." That is a day that will stay with me forever. It is a reminder that I am doing something right!
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would invest most of it into my classroom and students. I would buy high-interest books so every child can build a home library, purchase a Smart Board to make lessons more interactive, update technology and learning tools, and fund field trips and enrichment experiences. I would also set a small portion aside for myself—maybe a trip or something fun—to celebrate while continuing to support the kids I teach. ✨
