Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I was fortunate to have an insure g and phenomenal teacher for both kindergarten and second grade . After have ng her, as my teacher, for two years , I knew that I wanted to strive to become a teacher who would inspire and exhilarate children to learn to the best of their abilities and beyond .

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was last year when I received a letter from one of my students who was graduating from high school. She told me that she never liked school until the year that Intaught her . She went on to tell me that after being in my class and having me as her second grade teacher she had the desire to be a better student . She is now attending college!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate half of the 25,000 to a charitable teaching organization and spend the other half on teaching tools for my students to better enrich their learning experiences.
