I loved my first grade teacher. I wanted to help kids love school as much as I did. We had so much fun while learning!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI love when kids come back and tell me the impact I had on them. One Christmas, a student who was difficult while in my classroom wrote me such a loving email. He said that I made Christmas time in the classroom so special that every time Christmas comes around, he thinks about all the time and effort I put it to make sure that the kids in our classroom had a great holiday. The fact that he’s still thinking about me after 20 means that I did my job.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m a mom of two kids and their activities definitely warrant lots of money. I would love to be able to provide for them with a little bit more of a cushion! Of course, we all know that I would be spending money on my classroom as usual as well!
