I love to teach because I love seeing my babies grasp new concepts and learn new things in real time. I love the path of teaching them.

Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I've always wanted to help people. I originally wanted to be a lawyer, but I didn't like how selfish I had to be and teaching came so naturally to me it's the most helpful and selfless thing you can do with your life.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience has probably been hearing my kids use things I've taught them in other classes as they move up. It feels good to know I'm actually making an impact on them.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My life long goal is to open a private school for in a less fortunate community and for less fortunate kids because I think all children should have access to the same education regardless of status or adversity.
