Every day is different. It’s messy, loud, exhausting, and hilarious all at once. I absolutely love making an impact in my students lives!

I became a teacher because I wanted to do work that truly mattered. Growing up, I remember the teachers who made me feel seen and capable. They didn’t just teach lessons — they changed the way I saw myself. I knew I wanted to be that person for someone else. It’s more than teaching content; it’s about creating a space where students feel seen, capable, and heard! Teaching isn’t just a job to me, it truly is a calling. It’s a way to make an impact every single day, even in small moments.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was when a former student came back to visit and told me our class changed how they saw themselves. They said it wasn’t just the lessons — it was feeling heard, challenged, and believed in. Knowing that something we did in that room stayed with them beyond school reminded me that teaching reaches far past academics. That moment meant everything to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would absolutely give back to my students first by investing in experiences, resources, and opportunities that make learning feel real and unforgettable. I’d love to create experiences they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. I’d also use part of it to support my own growth — whether that’s professional development or personal goals so I can continue showing up as the best version of myself for ALL of my students.
