I was married and going to college at 20 years old when my husband went to work one day and had a terrible accident and was killed. I stopped going to college for about a year and substitute taught. No one wanted to sub in SpEd and I loved it. I went back to college to be a SpEd teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many but it would have to be watching a student return to school full time in 9 th grade after a TBI he sustained on a golf course with his 12 year old buddies in 7th grade. I helped him get through HS where he went to college, became a motivational speaker, got his Masters, works full time got married and just had their first baby, which they named after the Dr that saved his life on the golf course.
What would you do with the $25,000?Probably pay off debt.
