Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I’m passionate about helping others grow both academically and personally. I value creativity, relationships, and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident and inspired. Teaching allows me to make a meaningful impact each day while continuing to grow myself and support others in reaching their full potential.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching moment was when a student returned after beginning their college journey and told me all about their classes and how much they appreciated my lessons in the years they had me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would give back to our school community by funding an installation of a kiln and pottery wheel for the art classroom. I would also pay off student loan debt and put money away for my daughters’ college education.
