Learn MoreI wanted knew I wanted to be a teacher. I used to play "school" with my younger sisters; they were the students and I was the teacher. When I got to high school, I LOVED Spanish class. So it only made sense to be a Spanish teacher!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are too many to count. I think that whenever a student that I had reaches out to me years after I had them in class is the most rewarding part. Some reach out to tell thank you, some reach out to tell them that my kindness made a difference and their life, and some just reach out to tell me what they are doing now.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would take a vacation with my teacher friends, I would give a generous tip to the people that I buy coffee from every morning, and I would buy my dog lots of toys and bones.
