I love being a teacher because I inspire students to believe in themselves, set goals, and achieve their dreams with confidence.

Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I have always felt a strong connection to helping others learn and grow. As a child, I loved playing school and taking on the role of the teacher. That early passion stayed with me and developed into a commitment to supporting students, especially those who struggle. I find purpose in helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and experience success in ways that are meaningful to them.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching moment was watching a student who had been discouraged and unsure of themselves begin to believe in their own abilities. Through consistent support, encouragement, and small successes, they gained the confidence to take risks and engage in their learning. Seeing that shift—from frustration to confidence—was incredibly powerful and reminded me that teaching is not just about academics, but about helping students see their own potential.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 as a down payment on a house for my family.
