I became a teacher to inspire young minds and make a lasting difference in children’s lives. I believe every child deserves encouragement, opportunity, and someone who believes in them. As an international educator, I bring passion, culture, and connection into my classroom every day. Seeing students grow in confidence and discover their potential is what drives me to keep teaching and making an impact.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moment was with a child who struggled with reading and had given up on himself. I saw his potential and believed he could succeed. With patience and encouragement, he began to read with confidence. That day reminded me that every child can learn, just in different ways, and that teaching is about helping each student discover their own path and believe in their abilities.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would start a small tutoring center. Some students learn best one-on-one, and I want to give them that support outside the classroom. It would be a safe, encouraging space where students gain confidence, discover their potential, and fall in love with learning. Even starting small, this center would help every child feel seen, valued, and proud of what they can achieve.
