Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I truly love what I do! I’m inspired by the magic and creativity my “tiny humans” share so freely they’re the best examples of how to see the world’s endless possibilities. My mission is to make the start of their learning adventure a total blast! I create a space where school is all about making friends, sharing big ideas, and discovering who you want to be someday. Giving kids 100% love and support makes every single day the most rewarding job in the world!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience happens ever year! Since it’s often a child's first step into school, my most memorable part is the "Aha Moment." After months of practice, it’s like a magical door opens in their brains! Suddenly, everything clicks, and they proudly demonstrate everything they’ve learned. Seeing that spark of pure joy and confidence when they realize, "I get it!" is the greatest reward. Those experiences are the ones that stick with me year after year.

What would you do with the $25,000?

As a preschool teacher, I pour so much of my heart (and my own paycheck) into my classroom. I’d first create a dedicated fund for upgrades and special programming to keep the "magic" alive for my students. The rest would go toward my home, supporting my family’s needs, and giving back to the youth clubs and sports I love. This gift would allow me to keep pouring into others while finally securing a little extra peace of mind for my own loved ones.
