I had been a military instructor and felt it was a good fit for me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceDuring Covid, I had a class of 25 seniors and we keep in touch through social media., but I knew they were struggling being out of school. So I assigned each of them a class buddy to check on every week and I would drive to each of their homes and take snacks, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels and wipes) we would talk and give virtual hugs. All 25 graduated and were accepted into a two or four year college.
What would you do with the $25,000?Give a scholarship to a deserving student, give teachers some of the money and provide school supplies to all 17 schools in my county.
