When I was a child I dreamed of being a brain surgeon. I’ll never forget my elementary teacher telling me I would never become that because I wasn’t smart enough. It was my life mission to make sure no child ever felt the way she made me feel. I became a teacher to show children that they can do anything. I wanted to be a teacher to show kids they can do anything they want to do in life as long as they try!! Teaching keeps me young. I love my students as if they were my children!!

My most memorable moment was when I won teacher of the year. It made me feel like I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing in life! Also, whenever I see students that I taught in elementary school becoming adults in the real world (and they remember me) like I remember them!

The possibilities are endless. Use some for my classroom, but enjoy a vacation!! Living on a teacher salary is hard to vacation like you wish you could! Take me to Europe or somewhere tropical!!
