 Empowering children to believe in themselves.
Always hoping to be the support I once needed.
 Caring for every student who walks through my door.
 Helping my students see their strength and endless potential.
 Encouraging dreams that may have never felt possible. Reaching every child with the promise that they matter, and they are never alone.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moment as a teacher was helping a student learn how to read. At first, the student struggled and doubted their abilities, but with patience, support, and encouragement, they began to gain confidence in themselves. The day they read independently for the first time and realized they were capable was incredibly powerful. Seeing their pride and excitement showed me there is more to teaching than just academics. It’s about helping students discover their potential.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The funds would go toward classroom supplies, field trips, and resources that support students’ social and emotional well-being. Growing up, I didn’t always have the support I needed in school, and those experiences shaped my desire to become a teacher. Because of that, I am committed to creating a classroom where students have the encouragement, opportunities, and resources they need to succeed and believe in themselves.
