Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. I enjoy helping others learn and understand new things, and it feels rewarding when I see someone finally understand a concept they were struggling with. I also chose teaching because I want to help shape the future. By supporting students and encouraging them to do their best, I can help them build confidence and discover their strengths. Being able to guide and inspire students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was when I helped a student who was really struggling to understand a topic. At first, they felt frustrated and didn’t think they could do it. I spent extra time explaining the lesson in different ways and encouraged them not to give up. After a while, something finally clicked for them, and they were able to solve the problem on their own. The look of excitement and confidence on their face was unforgettable. It reminded me why teaching is a reward!

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would use part of the money to support my classroom and my students. I would buy new learning materials, books, and technology that could help make lessons more engaging and give students better opportunities to learn. I would also use some of the money to create fun and educational experiences for my students, like field trips or special classroom projects that we normally wouldn’t be able to afford.
