I became a teacher because I don’t think there is any more rewarding job in the world then helping students learn and grow. It has always been my passion to work with kids. I coached youth sports all through high school and college. That’s when I knew I needed to be a teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experiences have been when I have a had student who struggled in school before and I was able to help them work through behaviors and work habits to help them be ready for middle school. Then they come back to visit to share with me how well they are doing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it towards my retirement and maybe take a vacation with some of it.
