Growing up, I was always working with kids in some way, whether it was helping out, babysitting, or being around younger students. I never saw myself sitting at a desk all day. When it came time to choose a major in college, education was the only thing that really felt right to me. Even though I heard a lot of noise about choosing something else, I followed what I knew I loved and i’m so glad I did.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when a student wrote me a letter saying they wish I was their mom. It makes the stressful days worth it knowing i’ve impacted kids in a way they wish I could be their parent.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am recently married and would use it towards the house we just bought!
