Tell us why you became a teacher

For some students I am the light of their life and trying to lead them down the right path. 15 years as a public school teacher, teaching at 5 different schools, 2 States, and 1 U.S. Territory has allowed me to become more culturally diverse and establish lifelong relationships with former students and colleagues.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

When a former student 14 years ago contacts me and says, "I understand now what you were talking about in economics". I tell them that they are not going to get know or understand, it will be later on when you get that "ah ha" moment.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am not certain. I was reminded not spend money you don’t have and not to get excited about money that you may not win.
