When I was 10, my mom was sick, and the people who surrounded her with care inspired me to help others. In high school I explored teaching, but my love was theater. I trained at AMDA and became a working actor, yet teaching stayed with me. As a guest artist at John Jay, coaching future lawyers showed me my path—so I returned to finish my degree and become a teacher.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would spend it all on my family. The long hours and demands of my career often take me away from my wife and kids. I’d use it to give them meaningful experiences, time, and things they love—my way of thanking them for their patience, support, and understanding when Dad has to be gone.
