The answer is not complicated. I love helping young adults. I love watching my students grow intellectually and also having an opportunity to change student’s hearts. At the end of the day that’s all the reward I need.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThis is a tough one. I teach driver’s ed so I have seen things that’s would terrify some folks. Honestly it isn’t the terrifying experiences I remember most. My most memorable moments are when I see a my students go from not knowing which is the gas or the brake to becoming full functional safe drivers . These are my proudest moments.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put a large percentage in the bank in case of future needs. I would also purchase a new bright and shiny golf cart. We could use a golf cart to implement so many driving concepts and strategies in a much more efficient amount of time. We could text the effects of distracted driving and the affects drinking alcohol or doing drugs while operating a vehicle. We I could also show the effects of speed on a driver’s ability to sufficiently control a vehicle during different maneuvers.
