I love teaching because I get to inspire growth, build confidence, and help others realize their full potential every day.

I became a teacher because I enjoy helping students grow not just academically but as people. Watching students understand something they once struggled with or seeing their confidence build is incredibly rewarding. I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful impact every day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was helping a student who struggled both academically and personally begin to believe in themselves. Through patience, encouragement, and consistency, I saw them grow not only in their understanding of math but in their confidence. Moments like that remind me that teaching isn’t just about content—it’s about impacting students’ lives.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, my focus would be creating more opportunities for my students. I would invest in hands-on math tools, interactive learning technology, and materials that support different learning styles. I would also use some of the funds to provide enrichment activities and real-world learning experiences that help students see how math connects to everyday life.
