I became a teacher because I watched my sibling struggle in school. I watched what it did to my parents; how impacted us as a family & thought to myself that if I became a teacher I could help others from going through what my family was going through. There wasn't much I could do as a child but If I became an educator I could do something about it.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student as an 8th grader & 1.5 yrs after I had her in class she became my babysitter. When it came time for her to graduate high-school she wasn't going ro apply to college. I knew her family life, I knew her potential so I made her apply, wrote her recommendations offered to take her on visits. She ended up getting accepted and went to college on full scholarships. When she found out she said she would have never gone to college had I not forced her. She recently graduated &is a grad st
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off the last of my college loans, fund the classes I need to complete my special education endorsement on my license and pursue a doctorate in education.
