I first started in special ed after teaching swimming lessons to special needs children. Since then, I have had the passion to make a difference in my students lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen my former students and student-athletes return to tell me how my classes and my coaching has made an impact on their lives and the decisions they’ve made.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to help make my classroom more inviting with new furniture (no more boring desks in rows) as well as creating a scholarship for my low income students for college or trade school.
