For me it was a calling. I didn't study education. I had another career and I made a career change to become someone that could inspire others to love science as much as I do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience as a teacher happens every time a student has a moment of complete understanding. Every moment in which they get it and not just that, but they want to know more. I have also taught long enough to see previous students now become teachers. True evidence of inspiration.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the prize money I would like to pursue higher education and have the money for my daughter's to do so as well, when their time comes.
