I became a teacher to pay it forward. When I was in school, my teachers helped me learn the things I needed to know in ordercto be come the first person in my family to go to college. The teachers in my life got me to where I am now.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere have been so many memorable moments in my career. The thing that I strive for in my classroom is to help my students learn to think and slove problems. Last year, one if my students was struggling at the beginning of the year. I just kept supporting him, and there came a moment where he finally figured out what he was doing. I live for those moments.
What would you do with the $25,000?To be honest, I will probably spend some of it on my classroom and some of it on my art room
