I became a teacher because I learned differently and understand how important it is for students to feel seen and supported. Growing up, I experienced verbal and physical abuse, which taught me resilience and empathy. I wanted to make a difference by creating a safe, encouraging environment where all students can succeed. Most of all, I truly love working with kids.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use $25,000 to support my classroom by purchasing hands-on materials that bring learning to life. These resources would help create engaging lessons that allow students to explore, build, and experience concepts in meaningful ways. By making learning interactive and exciting, students can better understand the content and stay motivated to learn.
