I am passionate about opening up opportunities for students that they may not have in their own, as well helping them brainstorm avenues they haven’t thought about before that will lead toward avenues of success.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI applied a grant received for mini spheros toward students researching a real world topic they wanted to find an innovative solution. They expressed their findings through designing a mini golf obstacle course and coding the robot spheros to maneuver through and stop at research points to present to the community.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would purchase high tech tools for the classroom to create a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) experience to integrate into real world solutions, so that students are future ready.
