I became a para when my children went to school. After working for 10 years I decided that education was going to be what I wanted to pursue in my life. I felt that this was my calling, to work with students to prepare them for their futures as well as the current grade level that they were at.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen one of my students who I taught at an alternative Highschool came to us with 7 credits and within a year and a half she was able to graduate and also get her CNA before graduation.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would spend money on academic enrichment activities for my gifted classroom, which could include STEM activities, robotics, and other activites that would help guide my students towards their futures.
