I love when students learn new things, especially when they get excited about it and put it into practice naturally.

Learn MoreI became a PE teacher because sports taught me invaluable lessons. I wanted to teach students a variety of skills/games so they would fall in love with something physical and pursue it throughout the rest of their lives. Even if students weren't competitive, they could find something they love and incorporate it into their daily lives and still get the "feel good" feeling.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment came a year after the lesson. Students reached out to me to thank me for making the volleyball team. They said my lessons helped them prepare for tryouts and they utilized the skills they were taught in my class to make the team.
What would you do with the $25,000?I guess I do the same things my students do...don't read the question in it's entirety. I intially did not realize it was a trip AND $25000, and had to come back and edit my question. If I did win the money, I would finish paying off student loans and with the extra use it to travel or build a deck. The are so many possibilities and I have so many ideas I don't know where to begin.
