I’ve always loved working with kids and wanted the opportunity to watch them grow and bloom into confident, capable adults. Teaching felt like a natural path—one that allows me to care for, support, and guide young people while also building a meaningful and balanced life for myself.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was with a 2nd grade class that exceeded expectations. They mastered skills so quickly I introduced 3rd and 4th grade concepts, and they were proud to tackle “hard” work. Another was a student who began the year not knowing letters or numbers. With support and encouragement, he reached grade level by year’s end, leaving confident and capable.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would probably pay off some debt for sure and take a long much needed vacation! I would also probably buy some robots and microbits for my tech classes!
