Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to make a difference in children’s lives, to spark curiosity, and to create a classroom where every student feels seen, valued, and capable. I love guiding young minds to grow academically and spiritually, building confidence, character, and a lifelong love of learning.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

When I see a child’s eyes light up with excitement when they answer a question correctly, that shows passion, and experiencing that moment is a key factor for why I teach—to nurture growth, faith, and self-belief in every child.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I dedicate countless hours to my classroom and my students. I often neglect myself, my health and other personal needs. With $25,000 I would be able to ensure financial stability and possibly cut back on after hours gigs to help compensate for the low teacher salary. I often work 12 hour days plus I bring home a lot of work and often go to my classroom on the weekends, taking time away from my own family.
