I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in first grade. I’ve always loved teaching people anything and everything. I find myself having a gift for explaining things the way that makes sense to someone based on their interests and needs. I love working with kids and seeing their novel ideas, excitement for life, and motivation to accomplish anything and everything.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experiences are when students take something we’ve learned together and take it to the next level personally. Writing original poems, writing songs to help us learn content, applying a certain math skill to their hobbies. The list goes on and on when I see excitement and application of what we’ve learned.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it towards building the life with my soon-to-be husband, as well as paying my parents back for the support they’ve given me of higher education.
