Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I love helping kids discover their potential and build confidence in themselves. Watching students grow academically and personally is incredibly rewarding. Knowing I can make a positive impact on their lives every day is what inspires me most

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

While teaching a lesson on telling time, I made a big clock on the floor and had the students use their bodies to show different times. They had so much fun being part of the activity. When I modeled an example, I purposely did it wrong so they could correct me, and they thought it was hilarious

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put the money toward buying a home and also use some of it to purchase resources for my classroom to better support my students.
