Tell us why you became a teacher

I believe that learning has the power to transform lives. I wanted to help children reach their highest level of achievement by creating supportive, engaging, and empowering learning environments where every student can thrive.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One memorable, teaching experience I encountered, was when a child from another country joined my class and they didn’t speak any English. However, through encouragement, and support, she began to gain confidence. By the end of the year, the student was not only speaking English fluently, but was also reading at a third grade level. Watching this child’s growth and seeing the pride in her accomplishments was incredibly rewarding and reminded me why I am so passionate about teaching.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded $25,000, I would further my education by pursuing an administrative degree and I would travel abroad.
