I love teaching because every lesson is a chance to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students believe in their own potential. 💛

I became a teacher because my dad was a teacher, and I witnessed firsthand how one caring adult can change a child’s life. I saw the patience, dedication, and quiet impact of his work, and it inspired me to follow his path. Teaching allows me to carry forward his legacy believing in students, guiding them with compassion, and helping them discover their own potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable moments is watching a student in my special education classroom achieve something they once believed was impossible. Through patience, consistency, and trust, I saw small steps turn into real progress. The pride in their eyes reminded me that growth isn’t always fast or loud, but it is life-changing.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000, I would invest it directly into my classroom and professional growth. I would purchase adaptive materials, assistive technology, and sensory resources to better support my students, while also pursuing specialized training to strengthen my practice and impact more learners.
