I became a teacher because I wanted to help shape the future of students through music and the arts. My mother was a career educator, and I always admired her dedication to her students. I wanted to also dedicate my career to student success.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere have been many memorable teaching experiences in my career. The memories that stand out the most are when I have been able to see students master academic content while also making real life connections through the learning experience.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I was to win $25,000, I would put this towards the education of my own children so that they can hopefully also have lives filled with the same benefits that I have enjoyed from learning and sharing with others.
