Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experiences happen daily and center on resilience, both academic and emotional. I have watched students push through self-doubt, overcome setbacks, and grow in confidence when they once wanted to give up. Seeing a student realize they are capable of more than they believed, whether mastering a tough concept or navigating personal challenges, is the most powerful and rewarding part of my work.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My goal as a teacher has always been to help students grow into confident, capable citizens. If awarded the $25,000, I would support mentorship programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters that provide guidance and opportunity for young people. I would also use the platform to share effective classroom strategies and techniques I have learned from my colleagues over the years so educators everywhere can help students thrive.
