I want everybody to grow up thinking about how incredible it is that we are here. That we have heptillions of atoms that come together through chemistry and charges and microscopic forces that make up everything. I want kids to look at the world around them and know that all of the mysteries they see in daily life can be explained by science! Why is it raining? Why does that bird have blue feathers? Why does the moon turn red sometimes? Why does the Earth shake? How did humans get here?

It is impossible to choose, but I cherish every time a student comes to tell me something they experienced outside of school. It's incredible to have students thinking about the science we learned in class outside of school. It can be an Earth Science student telling me about the rocks they found on a hike, or a life science student telling me me how they taught their parents about the chromosomes and genetics of their new puppy. Make them CURIOUS and they will carry it with them.

I would revamp our science lab with new microscopes, stream tables, biology specimen, a virtual cadaver dissection table to explore human body systems, and new chromebooks. My students also would love some comfy chairs! I want to bring as much outside world experience into the classroom as possible.
