I became a teacher because I wanted to return the love of reading, that I received from my teachers, to my students and help them grow their minds. I graduated college during Covid and saw the huge teacher shortage and decided to help make a difference.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience has been to work with students who come into my classroom as a level one, and see them grow into proficiency by the end of the year.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would transform my classroom to include more technology and more products for students to use as they need. I would also want to invest some of the money towards a retirement plan. I would lastly spend some money to celebrate and reward my supportive admin team.
