Jacqueline Bogigian

I love watching that sparkle kids get when they learn something new or they do something on their own for the first time.

Tell us why you became a teacher

It was honestly an accident I started in daycares during Covid bringing kids into the building and out to their parents and within two weeks I was working in classrooms full time. I absolutely fell in love with the job and built my career up to being a social and emotional tech for kids in the school system!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

It would probably be my time as an elementary aged afterschool teacher. I built such strong connections with the kids I had those three years that still to this day I hear from them. When I took over that position it was a disaster of a classroom with no structure and ridiculous behavior issues. I implemented structure and boundaries and was able to do some amazing and fun things with that class by the end of the first year! We did over night lock ins and had some of the best experiences!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would start by paying off bills of mine and my mothers the rest of will be split between savings and a few charities that mean a lot to me personally
