When I was in high school I had an amazing physics teacher that really inspired a passion for curiosity through mathematics and song. I have had the pleasure to see that same joy in my students and look forward to continue passing that spark on to the next generation.

It's not always easy to see the impact one has on a student, but a few cases have really solidified and reinforced my belief in what I do as an Educator. I had one if my first students track me down years later and across state lines to invite me personally to their graduation. She was excited to inform me that she was going into a science profession because of the class she took with me. It really motivates me to keep up my efforts knowing that it can make that big of an impact on my students.

Unfortunately, nothing glamorous. The reality is that I've got a leaky sprinkler system and window, a rundown car, and some student debt. Help with any of those would be greatly appreciated.
