I became a teacher because I believe youth are the key to our future. I want to teach students to read, problem solve and be good humans and good citizens that contribute positively to our community, country and world.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is every moment that a student has that aha moment after some major struggles. I have a student this year who was very frustrated solving a fraction problem. After showing him a handful of different strategies he had the lightbulb moment and told Me THANK YOU for helping him to understand the problem. I love those moments.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have never been to Hawaii. I would love to visit Hawaii. I also want to take my son on a tour of Philadelphia, DC and New York to wrap up his 8th grade year of US History!
