Tell us why you became a teacher

I started working at an elementary school following Covid when the need for subs were high. After my first few weeks, I instantly fell in love and knew I wanted to go back to school to pursue teaching! So I did just that! Years later, I am now finishing up my first year as a lead teacher and I wouldn't change it for the world! I love my students and teaching them and making an impact on their lives!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Recently, my school participated in book blast. I had enough families participate and sign up so I won a free shopping spree for books. To show my thankfulness, I made this a big deal and we had a book blast unboxing party. Students got to wear pj's, read the books they got, enjoy provided breakfast together, and read the books i was able to get for our room for FREE! It was such an awesome morning and most importantly encouraged them to read and pick up books!

Save it and Pay off a lot of debt ive acquired from purchases for my first year teaching!
