I transform my classroom into a surgical unit, where students "dissect" words at hands on surgery centers to master their decoding skills. After our space unit, we visited a planetarium to delve deeper into the cosmos. As we left, the students showered me with gratitude for letting them experience the wonders of the universe firsthand; it truly made my teacher heart swell with pride.

With the $25,000, I envision creating "Classroom in the Grass"—a vibrant outdoor garden where students can be immersed with hands-on science. I also aim to revitalize our play space by updating and covering the playground, ensuring a safe, all-weather environment for physical activity. Any remaining funds will be dedicated to scholarships for our graduating seniors, investing in their futures long after they leave high school.
