I knew I wanted to work with children in some capacity. I started volunteering at one of my local elementary schools before applying to the education program. I feel comfortable teaching and truly believe it is what I am meant to do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI enjoy teaching with a hands on approach to learning. I love watching the students be able to create things or solve problems with their hands. We do a lot of experiments in science that involve hands on. We incubated and hatched chicken eggs in my classroom last year. Watching the students faces as they watched the chickens hatch from their eggs was memorable! They even got to hold them and play with them when they got a bit bigger.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off the remainder of my student loans and then save the rest!
